Ok, here goes my monthly apology for not paying enough attention to you and this fledgling blog: sorry.
It’s not that I don’t care about you, I do, it’s just that I’m a human being and I have a life and most of it outside of work consists of me hiding from my computer/email/text messages, etc. It’s a character flaw, I get scared. I’m sorry.
Anywhoozle, it’s midweek (not so much) tea party time! Today we’re enjoying another lovely chai from Metolius Artisan Tea, their Bird Song Chai. This lovely (and I mean lovely) little gem is full of bai mu dan white tea, lavender, rose petals, star anise, and chai spices. It’s really pretty to look at, which is why I failed to take a good photo of the actual loose tea prior to submerging it in hot water, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. Ok? Thanks.
This tea is so light and beautiful, I truly recommend it if you’re looking for a lighter tea option with that classic chai character sans black tea.
Until next time,
Dretta
