Hi, it’s been a while, let me first draw attention to that.
I hope you’re well and happy. I’m wrapping up whirlwind of a summer and preparing for the rivers of my-busy-season-at-work and beginning-my-master’s-degree-program to collide. It’s sure to be a fun two years, stay tuned. The moral of the story is that I’ve been busy playing and not blogging.
While I’ve been mostly playing outside, I have done some playing in the kitchen as well. My sourdough starter has been alive and (mostly) well since this spring and I occasionally dabble in sourdough bread, the scariest of scary bread recipes, in my opinion.
I have no recipe to share, as I still haven’t a clue what I’m doing, but I do have some photos for you to show how pretty my last loaves turned out! Yay!
Turns out that I’m still no bueno at slashing my loaves before baking, but I’m getting better, slowly.
Until next time,
Dretta
